Cycling in snow country with no need to bring your own equipment
A wide range of bicycles are available for rent to enjoy the GCR even if you do not have your own bicycle. They can be rented at major stations such as JR Echigo-Yuzawa Station or at accommodation facilities, and allow you to tour the GCR's diverse courses at your leisure. There are a number of 'cycle stations' during cycling, offering rest breaks and emergency support. Air tanks can also be borrowed. Participation in local events is also possible, providing a hands-free cycling experience to enjoy the nature and culture of the Uonuma region.
