30 km through the valleys and history of Echigo-Yuzawa

This 30 km course starts and finishes at Echigo Yuzawa Station, the gateway to Niigata Prefecture from the Kanto region. The course offers a rich natural and historical experience in the valleys between the towering mountains of Echigo-Tsumari. You can rent bicycles at Echigo Yuzawa Station, so you can enjoy the area even if you don't have your own bike.

Departure from Muikamachi Station! Noborikawa-Shiozawa 20km pottering

This is a beginner-friendly pottering course starting and finishing at Muikamachi Station, the gateway to Minamiuonuma. The tour focuses on historical and cultural spots, so you can get a feel for the origins of the area. At the end of the tour, you can relax in a footbath to relieve your fatigue.

Uonuma Skyline & Mikuni River Dam Challenge 65km

This course takes in the Uonuma Skyline, which is renowned for its spectacular scenery, and the Mikuni River Dam, which is also used in top category bicycle races.
Although the distance is only 65 km, it has two hard climbs and is recommended for challenge cyclists who are no longer beginners. This is a course where you can enjoy the scenery as well as the ease of riding.

25 km cycling at the foot of Hakkaisan

Pottering course running at the foot of the Echigo Sanzan and Hakkaisan mountains. Starting from Muikamachi Station, the course takes you to the hometown of Hakkaisan, a sake brewery, and its characteristic museums. This course is suitable for beginners, who can enjoy cycling in the Uonuma Koshihikari rice paddies towards the end of the course.

Departs from Urasa Station! 30 km gourmet pottering for a bowl of rice with real rice.

This 30 km course starts and finishes at Urasa Station, where the Shinkansen bullet train also stops. It starts at Saifukuji Temple, famous for its sculptures, and from the middle of the course onwards you can enjoy the water and rice of Uonuma. Enjoy the countryside scenery of Uonuma and try the food.

50 km to enjoy the flowers of Uonuma and excellent soba noodles and sweets.

50 km course starting and finishing at JR Koide Station. It offers spectacular views of cosmos, grass cherry blossoms and the Echigo Sanzan mountains. Gourmet food using the nature and specialities of Uonuma is also excellent.

45 km with views of the Tadami Line and the Goddess of the Pond.

This 45 km course starts and finishes at Kamiyu Onsen and heads towards the Irihirose area in the northern part of Uonuma City. The local scenery of the Tadami Line and the Irihirose area, known as the 'unexplored region of Echigo', can be enjoyed.

50 km hill-climb challenge to Mount Omine, a hidden and spectacular spot in Yuzawa.

The course starts and finishes at Echigo Yuzawa Station, where the Shinkansen bullet train also stops. The hill climb stretches for 6 km on the way to the end and offers spectacular views of the Yuzawa area spread out below. The course is also rich in sweets and scenery.
