On Saturday 13 September 2025, the Minamiuonuma Gourmet Ride was held in various locations in Minamiuonuma.
On the day, many cyclists from the city and beyond take part, enjoying the countryside and enjoying food and sweets unique to Minamiuonuma at aid stations set up along the route.
The warm hospitality and support of the local people was also appreciated, with many participants commenting that the scenery and food were excellent and that they were happy to meet the local people. It was a day of 'running, tasting and feeling' the attractions of Minamiuonuma.
